Located mid-way between New Plymouth and Hawera, in the heart of Taranaki, the Stratford Golf Club offers golfers a pleasant yet challenging experience in a picturesque environment. Just 2 minutes off State Highway 3 down Pembroke Road, the course is a Par 72 layout with four par five holes, ten par fours and four par threes.

Layout is predominantly North/South and the contour is mainly flat and therefore easy walking.

 

Tightish fairways and plenty of trees give our course a garden like feel. It boasts stunning views of Mt Egmont/Taranaki from virtually every hole, and on a nice day you can also take in views of the mountains to the east, Mts Ruapehu, Ngauruhoe and Tongariro, of the Central Plateau.

 

Stratford Golf Club has a fully equipped lounge, bar and kitchen and offers nice facilities in a central location for meetings, functions and events.

 

We can accommodate caravans and motor homes so Stratford is the ideal stop off for golfers travelling through Taranaki, looking for a challenge in a special environment.
