With great weather, course in excellent order and 108 players, the Stratford Golf Club open Christmas Hamper went off with a bang.
The winning team was D. Hancock, K. Murrell and V. Jones closely followed by the Manaia team of G. Elliott, C. Andreoli and N. Sharpe. The Strathmore team of R. Caskey, L. Fenton and G. Wood were third.
The mens closed hamper set down for this Saturday has been canned because of coring, and on Saturday 17th there will be a mixed club hamper, entry sheet in the club house, with the mens prize giving to follow after the golf.
