First off congratulations to Leon Eagar who came from 9 place to win the race and be crowned the 2024 FedEx Cup champion for 2024, great champion and a crowd favorite for sure and Leon proved while qualifying high helps it doesn't mean you cannot win it from the bottom half of the draw or at least make a couple of dollars.
Last Saturday we had qualifying for Top Dog and was great to see so many teams out enjoying a round in spectacular conditions, there were some great combined netts and none better than Jeremy Johnson and Robbie Barnard who have both obviously been secretly practicing and entered their first comp of the season with a scorching combined 63 nett.
This Saturday sees the first round kick off of Top Dog for those without byes so please arrange a playing time with your opposition in the draw and remember to be flexible with start times if needed to be.
Matches don't have to be played this Saturday but do so before the next round which is the 24th of August.
Remember for those of you who haven't entered we have the annual 5 Star Mid-Winter Open on the 17th August, entries are very low at this stage so please make life easier for Brad and I and get your entry in as we have catering and prizes to organize, we will cancel the event if not enough entries by next Thursday.
