Over the last two weekend the Spedding and Ennis Cups were up for grabs with Spedding being best two round nett and Ennis best two round Stableford, it proved a mighty battle with Jordan Anderson lighting up the course the first week to be leading both the Nett and Stableford after fining a 68 off the stick but there were a few chasers with Mike Willis in the form of his life right now catching and passing Jordan to take the Nett comp and an impressive second round of 73 from Tom Ferguson sneaking up and stealing the Stableford comp.
Attached are both lists, this weekend we have just a friendly stableford haggle to be followed by the FedEx Cup on the 27th of July, I have attached a list of the qualifiers so let me know if you are unable to play.
August the 3rd sees us kicking off Top Dog with a qualifying round, you don't have to play in that round but will help you avoid the higher seeds if you do, I need team entries as soon as possible for that along with entries for the Mid-Winter Open which is on the 17th of August so try not to leave it till the last minute to enter.
Big thanks to the guys looking after the course, it's been in outstanding order but members be mindful to repair pitch marks, divots and rake the bunkers after you have been in them so we all can enjoy.
